Was this in the wild or in a preserve? We visited a wonderful butterfly preserve in Key West a few years ago. Thanks, Jim.

This is a wild butterfly, on a native plant (firebush), in my backyard in Jupiter, FL, USA
Sorry it is blurry, this is with my first digital camera, not my Canon.

What a delightful photo, Jim! Often people don't think that when they use pesticides to get rid of the "bad" insects, they also get rid of all the beneficial ones! And without those "nasty" caterpillars, we would have no butterflies!
