Hello everyone. I'm too tired to do the puzzles tonight so will save them up for tomorrow, Saturday. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and will catch up with you at the wine tasting. Now I know why I need that early night.
Cheers all.

Good morning. In response to yesterday's request, I do the puzzles Easy, Med, Hard; always on rotate with the photo hidden. I love to put the big faces together because what looks like an alien at some point ends up being a cute kid or animal. This puzzle was harder for me than it looks like it should have been. The Alaska one the other day was timeconsuming.

Can someone tell us where this beautiful beach is? Tree looks like an Australian whistling pine--found in many tropical areas.
 |  |
Wherever it is, it's most enchanting!
 |  |
It's certainly not here in the Czech Republic!!!
 |  |
its a long ways from the mountains up here, thats for sure!
 |  |
Is this spot on the wine tasting tour? Better keep the horses off the beach so we don't 'pollute' it with gifts from the horses!
 |  |
Another beautiful beach. Make me what to take a much needed tropical vacation.
 |  |
I think the tree is a She Oak which we have millions of here in Qeensland along the coast and they drop little prickly things. Don't think the beach is near the Hunter Valley Greg. You'll be too occupied 'Tasting' to notice there's no beach anyway.
By the way, This wasn't such an easy puzzle.
 |  |
Jackie and all Aussies: I'm almost afraid to ask, but what does a He Oak look like?
 |  |
Makes me realise how much I need a holiday. Sun, sand, surf...bring it on.
 |  |
Not an easy puzzle, but very interesting.
 |  |
The tree was a bit hard, but otherwise okay.
I agree Jackie - it does look like a sheoak.
AND WHO BUT GREG would ask such a question, what does a HEOAK look like. I will take a photo of one especially for you Greg.
Hether - I hope that landing pad is out and ready because I'm getting More...

Suzanne, did you do this Hard one using rotation? Most hard puzzles don't seem that difficult, but this was challenging. What do you think of asking Gath to make a Really Difficult one by scalloping the edges like the other pieces?
 |  |
Nantucket- I did it on rotation and it was HARD. It was morning for me, though....Scalloping the edges would be fun but do I really need to spend MORE time doing jigsaw puzzles!!

Hello Anne from Albany! Yes - the same Ian who tried to help when you were installing Skype. I read the comments every day but rarely post as I am a shy, retiring kind of guy! If you believe that you'll believe anything!
 |  |
Hello Ian - I had an inkling it was you. I saw you post a while back and commented but you obviously didn't see it then. I still go on skype occassionally and sometimes thought I would contact you, but because you hadn't posted on here, I wasn't sure if you were still in contact. Hope all is well with you. Cheers, Anne

Many thanks Anne. Well as can be at my advanced age. Now notched up 20 years in Thailand and ain't planning to go anywhere. Much nicer comments on the jigsaw site. Enjoy the wine tasting!
 |  |
Yes, you're right about the comments on here. I think a lot more people do them that don't comment, though. Once something different is discussed, they seem to come out of the woodwork.
And yes, we will enjoy the 'virtual' wine tasting. You had better come and join us. CG & Richard should be there!!!!
 |  |
We seem to have people from OZ, USA, Canada and the Czec Republic - any other nationalities out there?
 |  |
I made a comment earlier but it's not there now... maybe I forgot to submit!
My boot must be a bit wobbly from all the tasting.
 |  |
Hether, I told you to ease up on that wine, now look what you've done. But why is your 'boot' wobbly from all the tasting. I think it's bed with you, my girl.
 |  |
Sorry, that should have been 'bed for you'
rofl
It was that last drink that did it!!!!
 |  |
Suzanne. I did this one on hidden rotation and thought it was easy until I got to the tree and then I slowed down a bit! I do all puzzles on hidden roation.
Anne: I seem to have missed out on a virtual wine tasting tour! What a shame, as I do like a good drop!
 |  |
Anne, 'walking with a wobbly boot' was how my dear old Dad used to describe the partially inebriated!!

I guess I just don't understand Oz talk but could someone explain what "omvotomg" means?

Aussies, according to one professional NZ botanist, this is definitely a It Oak!
