Me, too, Tricia, it sure is fun.

I'm with you two and enjoying the tour!
 |  |
This one is interesting. I thought it was eastern until I read the title.
 |  |
This is a real beauty!! Fun puzzle
 |  |
Charming!

Ooo la la -- does look like it could be New Orleans. Great puzzle
 |  |
Tricia that's what happens here! Welcome to the world as viewed from sudoku/jigsaw!

Since the site failure the other day the comments on some of the puzzles in the archive are obviously from other puzzles/days which can be amusingly incorrect and some of the headings that were, from the comments, previously missing have seemed to appear.

I love this site and come here tow or three times a day, but it is always different (The times change and it offen is not avalible.

A charcuterie, what fun!
 |  |
Vous pouvez plaisanter tout à votre aise, Richard, mais c'est une excellente chacuterie, et leur pâté de foie d'oie est des meilleurs. Y êtes-vous jamais allé? moi, si.

hey dorthea from san fran- my hands are somewhat disabled as well, early onset osteo arthritis. i agree this is a superb site it's nice to have the no rotation option. the only thing i'd like changed is a larger format to sort the pieces. Cheers everyone! lovely day here on bc's wet/left coast

Very easy 'hard'! Lovely photograph!
 |  |
I love the site also, and agree wtih forelithe, improvement would be larger area to move pieces, and I would like to change the background color (particularly when there are a lot of WHITE pieces@$%&)
 |  |
Changing the background wouldn't help that much, Candace, because instead having white pieces disappearing,it'd be the ones that matched the new colour! But I agree with you & forelithe about a larger work area.
 |  |
I do my puzzles by sorting all the edge pieces, then putting the middle ones all in a big pile and working from there. Unfortunately this site ruins my challenge because when you put all the middle ones in a pile, it sorts them in order and if I start at the bottom right hand corner, the puzzle is basically finished for me!

I love this site, having lots of fun going thru the archives. no other jigsaw compares with this one.

Funny you should say that this looks eastern Dorothea, as there is another pic from Colmar on the Medium Sudoku today, and the same comment was made about it!!
Bronwyn, I also hate it when the computer sorts any pieces that you put on top of each other, and it is hard to avoid at times because of the size of the work area!
 |  |
Maybe Gath could put the left hand column further down the page and give over the width of the page to jigsaws? I'll ask him via his sudoku page
 |  |
That puzzle was quick, easy and fun. I agree a larger work area would be great.

And by 2008 the picture had become the tail plane of a member of the Black Sheep Fighter squadron. Do you remember the TV series Martha?

I'm responding on March 16, 2012. This brought back an ocean of memories! As a teenager during WW2, I remember the Black Sheep squadron in the USAF, their name based on a song popular especially at Yale University. The war saw a heap of serious action and lost many fine young men lost in combat. More...
