Solve the Jigsaw

They put in a new section of freeway a bit north of us and in the morning were spraying the banks with a green goo over mesh. It must have been full of grass seeds as in the evening the whole bank was absolutely covered with Cockies!! And now it is grass about 18" high, and the Cockies still love it.

There are plenty of wild birds hanging around. Joann is right though - they can be destructive.

I've never seen one that wasn't in a cage. It's nice to know that in some parts of the world they're free. I had a peachfaced lovebird once and I let him fly around the house sometimes. whereizzy.... he probably has found a family. Peach Faced Lovebirds have large viable colonies all over the southern half of the US, now, and in a few northern areas. So many have escaped that they flourish here now. I once lost a Goffin's Cockatoo when one of my other Cockatoos opened the cage More...
