I took this photo of a building in the main street of Albury in southern NSW.

I thought it was your photo, Ian. A good jigsaw puzzle.

My guess was a wonderful art deco building in Miami, until I read Ian's comment.

Pat, 'T & G' was originally the Temperence and General Society which was, I believe, a large Insurance company. I'm pretty sure it is now defunct, hence the sale of this building to a pancake company. I was intrigued by the contrast in uses shown by the change of signs (or words to that effect - it's pretty early here).

I like the Art Deco style of architecture, and they have blended the new sign in nicely, not too glaring! Good pic Ian!

Can we tell what the sign says on the building? I can only read 'The ????' Fun puzzle, not too hard.

I agree...I can almost catch the scent of a freshwater lake full of fish, the lapping of the waves and the incredible peace. I want to be there.
