Now that was one tough puzzle.

I bet it was, too, Sheryl. It's a photo of Ian's and it's bark off a paperbark tree. I don't think I'll be trying it right now. I cheated and looked at the photo.

Hmmm. This is for after a good night's sleep
 |  |
I'll leave this one until later today.

Bark of eucalyptus tree - very tricky, esp without picture for reference and rotation turned on!
 |  |
Hardest hard in several days (or weeks?)
 |  |
PJ - you are a glutton for punishment doing it the extra hard way.
 |  |
Wonderful photo of a cliff-face. Excellent very difficult puzzle!!!
 |  |
Indeed, this was difficult and the photographer has a great eye!
 |  |
Initially truggled, but towards compelting, became easier. Really enjoyed this one.
 |  |
Meant completing!
 |  |
Very hard. I also think it is the bark from a tree.
 |  |
Jeeze PJ, tell me you didn't do it with the picture off and rotation on! I now regret having tried to be so 'tricky' with this photo. It is the bark of a Paperbark (melaleuca) tree, a native of Australia. When I photographed it I thought I might liven up everyone's mornings by rotating the More...

At least there are no white pieces.
 |  |
It was very hard, but, I was all wrong...I was guessing it was the inside of a cave!!
 |  |
Ian, you did not liven up my day...I am now on my way to take a nap and rest my weary brain!!!

Your right Ian, I first thought of cliffs, but I spend a lot of time looking at & photographing Hawkesbury River sandstone cliffs so it didn't quite jel! Hadn't got to paperbark though. Thanks for the double puzzle!

Omigosh, I'd forgotten, it's Friday 13th - I do hope nobody bust anything in frustration with the puzzle.
 |  |
Good one. Really difficult until near the end. Thanks Ian.

Lucky for me it is still the 12th here. I was thinking it looked like the remains after a glacier has melted back and then thought maybe a climbing cliff and somewhere I would find a climber. Never thought of bark. Will show my boys as they are involved in a very good program learning earth science.

ahhhh. The simple joys of life... finally getting one more piece to fit

Thought I was having a 'moment'. Boy, that took me ages. Out of my element tonight -might have been distracted using my sons lap top whilst football on in the background, 29 floors up in an apartment on the Gold Coast for a wedding tomorrow. Pleased to see I wasn't the only one to find this difficult. Another great shot Ian.....

Thank you to everyone who appreciated my photo. I found it difficult - even when I did it for the second time! I don't think I'll do that again.
 |  |
That was hard! Did anyone do it rotated? I had the picture hidden.
 |  |
Ian, no loss of friends here-I diid think it was stone or rock . Great puzzle (once in a while?)
 |  |
Sheryl, I don't have any more like that one.
