When in Singapore, I made the mistake of taking my then 5 year old son to an Alligator farm at feeding time. They were dumping hundreds and hundreds of little, yellow peeping chicks into the holes in the ground where the gators were. Couldn't pick him up and get him out of there fast enough. The local children laughed. It's all in our culture, I suppose!
