Good Maen, everyone. I love this photo. The birds are very interesting. Do they sound like frogs, or does the name pertain to large mouths? The colours in the picture are beautiful.

Lucky to find one of these in the daytime, let alone a family! When you get close they generally stretch their neck up and look just like a tree branch. (a bit like the one on the LHS.

And just when I thought I could recognize kookaburras - even if I'm not quite sure how to spell the name - we have a puzzle of frogmouths! How am I ever to tell the difference? Do they croak, shoot their tongues out to catch bugs, shell their throats into a bubble before making a sound. I love the colorful names of your birds.
