I grew up on a farm in the North Eastern part of South Africa. We used to have flamingo's in summer. They were never as pink or coral as the ones in the picture, they were white with beautiful coral feathers under their wings.

I don't think I have ever seen a live flamingo..they sure are pretty.

True, Martha. I've been eating shrimp all my life and I've never turned coral, LOL. I'll admit that I've been lobster red more than a few times, due to the sun gods.
