Beautiful, Kate! I had no idea you had magnolias in Oz. Looks like they grow as bushes -- is that so? We have the magnolia trees in southern USA with a little bit different foilage. What a wonderful world. everybody!

Yes Judy, ours sound like yours. There were two magnolia trees on the street where I grew up - and I can Still smell their fragrance... Thank you Kate for bringing it to mind.

Judy, that'd be the Bull Bay/Southern Magnolia which is evergreen, native to southern ASU & can grow to 33m/100ft. Its full name is Magnolia Grandiflora magnificent name for a great tree!) and it's evergreen. This is a smaller tree that's deciduous is probably a hybrid of a couple of Chinese magnolias!

Everyone
Kate, another fantastic photo, at first glance it looks like the Magnolia is growing on a rock.

Have a great day everyone.
