That is a BIG catamaran! Is it possible to capsize those things?

My personal challenge is to complete the puzzle in the minimum number of moves. Today I did it in 16 moves, one for each piece.
I guess it can be done in 15 moves if one of the pieces is close to it's correct position. Tomorrow perhaps?

Neat idea, Ian! I think I'll give it a try, too. I'll let you know if I get even close to 16 moves! I agree with you, Heidi, that is a big whatever. Guess I was thinking of outrigger canoes!

Hi, Ian — I also try to do a minimum number of moves, and not to pick up a piece unless I can connect it to another. As you say, sometimes physically impossible to not have at least one "wasted" move ... I try to employ this even on the harder puzzles, unless they have very little shading ... like some of YOUR challenges!

Interesting concept Ian, how many move for a medium?

Kirsten, it is a fairly new challenge and I haven't progressed to medium yet.

Kirsten, I did the medium in 59 moves, that's not the minimum possible because I know that I wasted a couple of moves, but it's a start. Please don't ask me to try the Hard.
