Good evening everyone. Is that a car under all that snow?

good evening everyone.
Hey, where's my car gone?? I'm sure I left it here earlier.
 |  |
I can see a scene like this out my window--how about a nice sunny beach next time!
 |  |
Making me feel cold just looking at it.
 |  |
So pretty when its in front of someone elses house.

Liz, You might want to consider a trip to San Antonio Texas. Scenes like this do not exist here. Today's expect high is 65. It will get really cold later this week, with a low of 30. But we should be able to pack our winter clothes in about a month, if not sooner.
 |  |
Christina, get the guest room ready!
 |  |
Woke up to this scene here this morning also. At least it is a little warmer. It is 20 degrees above zero instead of 14 below like it was last week (F not C).
 |  |
We haven't seen anything like that here since 1993. I hope to not see it again. Part of the reason I live in the South is for the mild winters.

We are just north of London and don't get snow like this too often. Maybe once a year but it doesn't half cause problems. Last week we had 5cm of snow and it caused schools to shut, even airports to close. It's crazy.
 |  |
No comments from upper state New York? You wouldn't be able to see the house or the car from the sounds of it. 100' and counting. Where is all that snow going to go eventually? Stay warm Liz.

It reminds me of the year we spent in Canada - I have fond memories (and a recurring hangover).

I saw an American house renovation show a while ago & the guy put underfloor heating not only in the house & garage, but also in the drivay & path to the front door! I guess if it stopped this sort of thing happening it was a good idea!
 |  |
'Drivay' should be 'driveway'!

I lived in Chicago for many years and then we moved to New Orleans.....I don't miss Chicago winters at all. 'Course, we do have hurricanes!!!!
 |  |
This would make a really hard 'hard' with all that white!! Too cold for me!
 |  |
Reminds me of living in London.
 |  |
That picture makes me appreciate my home town! I'd rather get jiggled once every twenty years than have to play hide and go seek with my car every winter!

HA HA HA!
