16. I thought I would get 15 - but found at the very end one piece obscured. So I had to move the main puzzle out of the way to get the last one.

Schultz was like one of the family here. I'm so glad his memory lives on here in all of these marvelous photos of him, Kate. I think we all felt like we knew this noble gentleman.

"15" Shultz reminds me very much of my old buddy Rusty who left us July 5, 2006. I still have pictures around the house that I pet when I walk by.

I did not know Schultz, but we had a Willie (15 yrs), then a Chucker (13 yrs). Willie rode on anything that moved-even the motorcycle. Made the front page of the local paper on the cycle. Chucker loved to run with me when I walked the gravel road. There he'd go and here he'd come back, full-tilt More...

Wikapedia for Lake City has a picture of the bridge, which is is no longer in service. When I was a kid, there was a park by it with an artesian well of the best, coldest water. The site also shows a county map. We live 1.5 miles south of Jolley, the little dot in line with the jog.

I am sorry to have not mentioned Schultz in my earlier post. Growing up, we had a german shepard named Cindy that lived till I was 15. I guess growing up I had thought she would live forever, and the sadness of her passing has kept me from ever owning another dog; I could not bear that again. I see that Gramma Linda has had multiple dogs, and I wonder: Does it ever get easier?

On a happier note: Congrats to Canada on winning the best hockey game I ever saw, and with it, the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal!

Because of their circumstances, this is their permanent home. They really aren't adoptable. Each dog is an individual, and each has so much love to offer. It More...

It is always hard to lose a close friend. But I am so glad to have had them as a friend and the memories are still with me to make me smile.

Thank you Kate for bringing up memories of all my friends that have passed. RIP Schultz
