Special thanks for this picture. I've wondered if anything was left there from WWII. As usual, I've not gotten around to check on my own. An uncle of mine landed on one of those beaches on D-Day + 1. He would never talk about his wartime experience.

My Dad was in the Danish underground in Copenhagen during WW2. He would never talk about and was decorated by the King. I always include him in Anzac Day rememberence. Lest We Forget.
