Nice clear road. No traffic. And on the way to somewhere warm.

Hard to believe there's a road with so little traffic.

It is a photo i took through the windscreen. We were on our way back to Sydney from Melbourne and this was taken in northern Victoria, a bit south of Rosemary's place.

Hi All. We have beautiful sunshine today. Was forcast to be wild winds and rain. Oh how they get it wrong!. But I am enjoying the break. We have had a few days of steady rain which was most welcome. The skies are nearly as blue as in the lovely photo today. Thanks again Ian.

dorthea, there are two shadows of trees and a truck in the distance on the left hand carriageway. We drive on the left.

Excellent photo, Ian. Did you just put the lense right up against the glass?

Judy, not right up to it but close enough so that if there are smudges on the windscreen they are out of focus. Sometimes it helps to set the camera for landscape photography because it then focuses on infinity - that almost guarantees that the camera won't focus on the bugs on the windscreen.

Thanks for the tip, Ian. That's exactly what I was trying to work around.
