Not what you'd call "Shy" are they.

Are they still coming around to be fed?

Is it just you they recognize, or are they equal opportunity moochers ?

They do look like little honeys. I notice you people have already cleaned your plates and the birds just get the crumbs, making you either selfish feeders or smart cleaner-uppers.

What pretty markings, and what fun to be able to hand-feed them! On my only trip to New Zealand, I enjoyed the tameness of the birds who evolved without predators, until WE introduced them.

There is a place called the Berry Farm in Margaret River where you can have a meal. The honey eaters and blue wrens are tame and people put sugar in their hands or on the table, and they come down to eat the sugar - which is actually bad for them and the blue wrens are not so common there now, sad to say.
