I am sure it is the former! It also looks like a pub window ... but we'll have to wait for other Kate to confirm!

It's in the back window of my niece's station waggon. I'd been photographing a pink flowering gum in the park near my parent's house and noticed it on my way back!! Just took the photo for fun, and decided to submit it when I submitted the gum blossoms!! No rhyme or reason at all!!!
