I mistook it for mother-in-law's tongue, Vici -- but a close up shows you to be right on (natch)! Good work, Wagdy! all of Sudokuland's puzzlers!

This looks to be a large plant, ?in the yucca variety?

Isn't that agave - the "Century Plant"? That is certainly a stalk of it behind the foreground fellow! They don't live 100 years, but usually flower on a tall stalk within 15-20 years - then die. But they are impressive in Life! Saw many of these guys in Arizona years ago. Another fine picture, Wagdy - thank you! But I am getting itchy to buy a ticket and go out there myself!

I believe it is a century plant. I have many of them, though none are old enough yet to bloom. The blooms are spectacular, but boy, do they stink!
