Nowadays, if a building is 30 years old, it's "too old" and we demolish it ... not like the old days when things were built to last for generations!

Lovely photo and building. The colors are very nice. Good work, Kate. Cyn, this is so true. I did find, though, that people in the northeastern US tend to restore and preserve the old buildings more so than has been done down here. Hopefully the historic preservation groups that are springing up will change that for the future.

Now the Family Law Courts. The photo is taken from Hyde Park looking south west. It's at the intersection of Elizabeth and Liverpool Streets. Thanks Kate!

My daughter used to work in the building opposite the Family Law Courts, so almost same address: Elizabeth and Liverpool Streets. It is a nice area as Hyde Park is on the other side of the road.
