The only times I went through Utah all I saw was snow,

Hey, second today! I must say, I was surprised that this was Utah. All I think of is salt and so forth when I picture that state. See how narrow minded one can be!
 |  |
Utah is a beautiful state from the hot, dry, rocky formations in the south to the high, mountainous areas in the north. A must visit!

Très joli cocktail de fleurs -
Very nice 'flowers-cocktail' is right so?
 |  |
Tulips don't grow well here in TN -- the winters aren't cold enough! You should dig them up and refrigerate/freeze them; in Wisconsin that wasn't a problem! And while some of Utah is kind of bleak (as Judy said), other parts are absolutely awesome (all their National Parks in the south, amazing skiing in the north in majestic mountains).
 |  |
Very Loverly - living in the SE, it is easy to forget the wonder of the spring flowers.
 |  |
Tulips in NC lose to the rabbits and the warm ground. This is a very pretty garden. Utah is so diverse.

Sigh! I remember spring!

Counting down the days until spring, wish and hoping the ground hog doesn't see his shadow Febuary 2,won't be much longer now, we'll find out if we have six more wks. of winter, and bad weather. Beautiful flowers and good puzzle to bad it wasn't a hard one to work. January 30,08

Ah, Martha, speaking of the groundhog, don't go out there, don't go out there!! It's horribly windy here now.
 |  |
Lovely little scene - thanks! Yes, Pata, here as well, the wind is fierce. The electricity has been out all morning, and when I went out with the doggie, the wind had blown the logs down from one of my woodpiles!
 |  |
Beautiful!
 |  |
IT'S windy here too,you take three steps and blow back two.Weve snow coming in they say tonight .So i'm dreaming of spring too.Bad day for wigs hats small children car doors everything.

These tulips look rather sickly. I did the only sensible thing to do in the winter which is to go to Florida, where I'm surrounded by beautiful flowers and gorgeous weather, until the cold goes away. I will go back north then in time to see my bright red hybred tulips bloom.
 |  |
WooHoo.....windy and gusty here too! I can't wait to see our crocuses pop up! That is, if the shrew hasn't eaten the bulbs!
 |  |
Lovely!
 |  |
Pretty garden!
 |  |
I just drove 2 1/2 hrs. to Kansas City airport and 2 1/2 hrs. back in this wind. I can hardly wait to go to FL in Feb. for a week!

Is Gerald fr ton missing in action? Haven't seen a post from him in ages and we are all missing him a lot here at the coalface.Or is he on leave?
 |  |
I have a mass planting of black tulips at my place, but won't see them for awhile yet.
 |  |
Our winters are so mild (maybe a few cold days) that the sight of those lovely flowers makes me think that it will soon be time for our long long long HOT summers.
 |  |
Very pretty!!
 |  |
Very cold and windy here on Lake Erie. Power was out all over this morning when I went to work. We aleady have snow warnings for tomorrow posted. Hope they are wrong. Wind chill is already subzero.
 |  |
lovely flowers
 |  |
We had a thunder storm last night and lost power for about five minutes but we got some lovely rain with the storm. I think the rain water tank might be full now.
 |  |
Good Maureen. We had a lovely lot of heavy showers yesterday too and my tank is full. The rain was so heavy that my friend said it was raining Cats and Dogs and Elephants too. I know we had the elephants come through once or twice. It was wonderful.

Sadly, for most concerned, he was 'arrested' by the
