The old tea roses smelled wonderful. A lot of the new hybrid roses have lost the aroma. Or am I getting older and losing my sense of smell??

Beautiful rose, eaa. Thank you.

Beautiful rose, thanks eaa. I have been surprised at how hardy roses are - they survive our drought / water restrictions very well.

Elizabeth, you're right about roses -- they are pretty hardy! I can't get out to tend them any more -- dragging the old oxygen while dodging thorns is not my idea of fun. Of course, I can still shop . Anyway, a lot of my roses have survived my negligence and the slings and arrows of my yard men too.

I'm pleased you all enjoy my rose, it is from my garden but for life of me I can't think of its name. It has a delicate perfume.
