It's good to have the person in the photo to give a sense of scale.

It is fun to just stare at the puzzle for awhile..you can imagine all sorts of images.

Thank you for this series of pictures. Now I am visiting the Dolly Sods of West Virginia

Dolly Sods is neat. It's a wilderness area, so things are kept natural, and it shows a side of nature that most people have never seen. The trees only grow on one side - the wind is so strong that there is nothing growing out of the side where the prevailing winds come from.

Helly, Dolly!

Should be.... Hello Dolly!

Nice picture. It is amazing, the shapes that rocks will form into.

I agree, Jean about getting a sense for the size of the formations! Dolly seems a great place to play!!
 |  |
Yes Kate, it is great to see Jim in there to realise how big these rock formations actually are!!

Hello Dolly. It's so great to see you back where you belong.

That is a very odd shape rock, a really big one. Monday 02/11/08

I see faces in the rocks, of a cat, a woeful man, a baby and a distorted horse. This formation is like an imagination-inspiring version of Mt. Rushmore! 4/8/08
