I took this picture from the Japanese Gardens on the west side of Portland. The picture is looking east. You can see the northern part of downtown and Mt. Hood in the distance. It was a beautiful day!

Fabulous shot, Terri. Sorry I'm always late, but I usually don't do the puzzle until the evening. Mt.Hood is 11,239 ft in elevation, 3425 meters if I converted properly (I have conversion tables on my computer-very handy).

On a clear day you can see several other mountains too from that spot. We always called Hood THE mountain and the others by name.
