Kate, how big is this guy - with that big head in proportion to his body he seems a juvenile, but I've never seen one of these handsome fellows before.

Wow, another lizard. I remember seeing a doco on water dragons about a month ago, but can't remember too many details (old Timers Disease) but do know they are very territorial and can have vicious fights

What a long tail he has! He's a grand dragon, indeed, though I'm glad we don't have those creatures sunning themselves on my deck... Great photo, Kate. I like the wildlife puzzles.

I've just seen our first water dragon of the season over the weekend! Very pleased about that too since the council did a bit of creek remediation over winter and I was worried about their habitat!
