First glance at the mixed pieces I suspected it was him. I opened the door to see what George, my cat, was growling about, and at my feet not 12 inches away, looking up at me was a big racoon with his family of 4 behind him. George was on the railing above the family looking decidedly upset.

I remember suffering through the mating of two raccoons on my roof. Up there I couldn't get to them to chase them away. The male was at it all afternoon and female screeched all that time!

Oh Sharon. you definitly had it worse than me.
 |  |
Possums do that too sharon, but it's generally inside the roof and then they urinate!!

I have a family of racoons and a family of possums. Also some feral cats. I put out water for them , but no food. By the way I live in the big city.

My friend raised two orphaned raccoons that she found when they were just days old. Their names were Rocky and Rachael, and they were a hoot! You really had to watch your possessions though, or they would make away with them. 4/9/08
