Reminds me of my first rejected suitor. How could I marry a guy who refused to complete the edges before starting the rest. Shoot - he didn't even sort the pieces. Wonder what became of him.

Mom wouldn't let us start putting pieces together until every one of them was turned face up. We could sort off the edge pieces as we went, so it didn't take long to put that part together. I wonder if the man in the picture is the caretaker? My husband is out with the mower/bagger today getting rid of some of our leaves.

The man in the picture is my father. The trip to the Cowra gardens on the way back from the Temora Air Show was part of his 70th birthday.

I'll reiterate Julie's comment Kate! Hope your Dad had a great day, certainly looks like it!! Also looks like we will have to put Cowra on our itinery, it seems to have changed heaps in the twenty odd years since we were there! Thanks for this great selection of pics Kate!!
