The Breakaways are North-east of Coober Pedy in South Australia. Like much of arid inland Australia, desolate remote and,to my eyes, beautiful.

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I've had to switch meds because I'm now on Social Security and don't meet the whatever for this particular one. I'm on a replacement, but!! This picture looks like my mouth feels and insides feel - dry and barren. No offense intended.

I took this shot last year travelling through the "Red Centre". We got up before sunrise to get these photos. What an awesome, ancient landscape it is. I hope some of my other photos of the Breakaways get published.
