I wonder where this picture was taken. Somewhere in old Europe?

Good Maen everyone!

Lovely old building. Versaille or St. Petersburg??
Probably neither knowing my luck!

Good evening all, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Take care.

I've been trying to figure out where and what this is...but...I give up. I surely would like to know cuz it is beautiful.

The beautiful kitty in a red dish which we had here yesterday is on sudoku medium today.

Yes lovely, very ornate, and the well framed pic suggests Ian, so I am going for St Petersburg!! Will check in the morning.

I saw the kitty on the sudoku site too - and here we just had a discussion about how the pictures appear and repeats and all, and I think it was Ian who said that the pictures appear on sudoku first, then come to the jig page. I thought so too, but I guess we are wrong. Maybe the 'comment monster' is messing with the order of the pictures too!

Hi everyone and have a very nice weekend.
This picture is not from Old Europe or Versaille or St. Petersburg ,It is from Cairo City and for a private Palace was owned by Sakakini and took the name as Sakakini Palace .
In my Flickr photos there are some photos of this palace and his story .
Hope it meets your interest.

Wadgy, thanks for the info. I wouldn't have imagined seeing this type of architecture in Cairo.
