Joe, Wish you had a camera, so you could get s shot of Barnegat Light on Sandy Hook. I think the Barnegat Light Ship is moored somewhere around there, too.

I like this photo because the Lighthouse looks modern in comparison to ours.

I love Barnegate lighthouse on the north end of Long Beach Island in New Jersey. The island took a great hit in last year's storm but is back in business now.

Kevin, Barnegat Light is about 40 miles south of Sandy Hook. There is another light near Sandy Hook Light called Ambrose Light. It used to be a floating anchored small ship but is now a platform whose legs are sunk into the Atlantic Ocean seabed. Some years ago the original Ambrose Light ship was tied up near South Steet Seaport in Manhattan, NY City.
